Will the visit show up on my parent's insurance bill?

not if you dont have the clinic submit it to the insurance company. ask to have the bill sent directly to you.

you dont get an insurance “bill”
if they call though, then your parents can find out.

With my insurance there is just a copay and my parents have a steady amount they pay therefore the only way your parent find out is if the doctor has a problem or doesn’t cover something n you are billed

If the clinic bills the insurance company then your parents will receive what is called an explanation of benefits. This tells them what clinic you went to and how much was paid for your visit. If you don’t want your parents to know you went then you should not have them bill the insurance company, but then you will have to pay the clinic with cash.

Maybe you shouldn’t hide important stuff from your parents? I don’t know, but I suspect they might just know a little more than you do, especially since you don’t even know what kind of bill or statement they get from the insurance company. Hahah, children are so silly.

I resided in Michigan and I went to California and lost my baby. I had unpaid hospital bills and eventually they found my address in Michigan. Would you believe my mom gave me my mail and did not question a thing…..Wow what a relief. of course I paid the bill…
Also when I was there Paul Newman put an add in the paper and sid this is my phone number. Use it they are charging me 200.00 per month for long distance phone calls so I used it and my girl friend used it and my boy friend used it and I am sure many others. After a year someone phone my moms house and asked If I lived there. Mom replied Yes.
They said this is the fbi and we are investigating illegal use of paul newmans phone number.. well she put me on the phone and all that happened was I was asked questions about everyone that may have been involved then they gave me My sum to pay my part of the bill…….Very Lucky me.
