Medisoft medical billing software’s newest version has  exciting new features in medisoft version 14 – one of the new features  is the “Quick Entry” screen. This feature allows you to create different types of “Patient Quick Entry Templates” . A “Quick Entry Template” combines both the patient chart and case information and allows you to select which fields you want filled out for that template and allows you to specify “Default’ information and also to check if the field is “required”. This feature allows you to setup seperate “Templates” for “workers comp”; “medicare”; “medicaid”; “auto accident”; and many other types of template. When a new patient is entered into the system, you pick a template, and only enter the information that was specified for that template. It saves a alot of time in data entry, and also helps new staff because they don’t have to click around all the tabs in the Case and “look” to see if there is a field there that might need entering.  Do you see how this could benefit your office?  Actually, I think this is a “unique” feature, that no other billing software has, now thats exciting!
